The General Manager of Guangzhou Metro Group (GMG), a state-owned Chinese transportation company, said the company is ready to assist Pakistan. They can help develop a Pakistan bullet train project if the country requests support.

Speaking to local media, the GM highlighted that Guangzhou Metro handled billions of passenger journeys in 2024. Millions used the service every week. He added that safety and punctuality remain the company’s top priorities because millions depend on the metro daily.

He noted that GMG has already contributed technology and know-how to projects in Pakistan, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Hong Kong, and other regions. This demonstrates the global standards GMG follows in metro planning, construction, and operations.
