Atlas Honda has officially introduced the CG125 2026 variants in Pakistan, a move that has sparked conversations among motorcycle fans. The new lineup consists of three versions: the standard CG125, the CG125S with self-start, and the premium CG125S Gold edition. Despite the excitement, the models continue to use the same reliable engine as previous years.
Updated Prices for Each Model
The company announced ex-factory prices for the new series. The CG125 comes at Rs. 238,500, while the CG125S (self-start) is priced at Rs. 286,900. The Gold edition, which represents the premium option in the series, carries a price tag of Rs. 296,900. These prices reflect Atlas Honda’s strategy of offering multiple choices to suit different buyers.
What’s New in the CG125 2026 Variants
Although the bikes retain their familiar engine, they come with updated stickers and cosmetic enhancements. The company markets the collection as a blend of “Power, Legacy, and a touch of Gold.” This approach highlights Atlas Honda’s focus on style and branding while keeping the mechanical performance unchanged.
To attract riders, the company used unique slogans for each model:
- CG125 – “Power in Every Move”
- CG125S – “Self Start Your Journey”
- CG125S Gold – “The Golden Era”
These taglines aim to connect with both traditional CG fans and younger buyers looking for stylish yet dependable motorcycles.
Connection with Past Models
This launch comes shortly after Atlas Honda introduced the CG150 in July. The CG150 sparked debate for its design similarities with the older Honda CD 200 Roadmaster from the 1980s. Interestingly, well-kept Roadmasters still sell for over Rs. 400,000 in Pakistan’s used bike market—almost equal to the cost of a new CG150.
The CG150 features a 4-stroke, 150cc SOHC air-cooled engine producing 8.75kW (11.9 PS) at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 12.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This shows Honda’s continued effort to balance heritage with performance.
A Brand Built on Legacy
Atlas Honda’s CG series has been a cornerstone of the Pakistani motorcycle market for decades. The CG125 2026 variants reaffirm the company’s commitment to maintaining this legacy while appealing to changing consumer preferences. With cosmetic updates and competitive pricing, Honda continues to position itself as a brand that blends tradition with modern-day appeal.
