The gold price in Pakistan surged on Tuesday, marking a new all-time high as rates continue to climb. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 4,100, reaching Rs. 388,100 compared to Rs. 384,000 the previous day.
Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 3,514, now standing at Rs. 332,733, up from Rs. 329,219. The rate of 22-karat gold also jumped by Rs. 3,222, reaching Rs. 305,016 from Rs. 301,794.
Silver followed the same upward trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola climbed by Rs. 20, hitting Rs. 4,358, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs. 17 to settle at Rs. 3,736. On the global market, silver prices gained $0.20, trading at $41.25 per ounce, up from $41.05.
With gold nearing Rs. 400,000 per tola, analysts suggest the gold price in Pakistan could continue its upward momentum if international demand remains strong.
